Rates depend on the respective room size, ranging from Bs. 130 to Bs. 500 (half day) and from Bs. 200 to Bs. 600 (full day).

| Santa Cruz is located in the heart of South America, at 416 meters above sea level.
Because of its ideal and privileged location you can get low priced airfares from any place in the subcontinent.
It has a semi tropical climate, a short winter (june and july), and the temperature the rest of the year ranges
between 22 to 35 degrees centigrade.
The Kolping House is located in a residencial area, 14 km from the international
airport between the first and second ring of the city.
- Our house is part of the "Multifuncional Kolping Center" sharing the same plot of land with the Kolping
Medical Center and the Kolping Professional Training Center.
- In the neighborhood you will find the Santo Domingo's parish church, supermarkets and shopping centers.
- Walking by feet or going by bus or taxi you will come to downtown in few minutes.

- Main city square with the Cathedral or the Basilica of San Lorenzo and its
museum with religious pieces
- Zoo Park, located in the city's "third ring"
- The Lomas de Arena sand-dunes, 15 minutes from the city, an interesting place
formed by capricious sand hills of all sizes
- The Cotoca Sanctuary, 20 km from the city
- The Inca site of El Fuerte in Samaipata, two hours from the city, a
beautiful valley with nice and moderate climate and several places of interest
- The Jesuit Missions of Chiquitania, a group of beautiful colonial churches built by Jesuits in which you
can appreciate religious art from that period and area
- The "Bolivian Pantanal", the Bolivian part of the world’s largest wetland area, situated in the east of the
Department of Santa Cruz, is a famous and classic place for eco tourism because it is the best preserved,
and maintains the most genuine, virgin and wild places of the whole Pantanal region (Bolivia, Paraguay and
Brasil). In this paradise you can enjoy many activities like horse-riding, ecological walks, boat
excursions and close encounters with the numerous animals forming one of the densest wildlife populations
of the continent: caimans, capybaras, iguanas, monkeys, jaguars, parrots, blue macaws, toucans, etc.
A GLAMOROUS EVENT: THE CRUCEÑO CARNIVAL
The celebration of the carnival in Santa Cruz is one of the brightest, and some say
it's as good as the Carnival in Rio de Janeiro. It lasts four days and it finishes with a parade of many groups
with their floats ("carros alegóricos") and beauty queens displaying all their fancy dresses and color. The
streets are filled with music, and cheerfull people having talcum powder fights until they are
exhausted |
